Turinabol (TBOL, Oral Turinabol, 4-Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone)

General description

Turinabol (Tbol, 4 Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone) also known as tbol, oral tbol, oral turinabol and chlorodehydromethyltestosterone is an oral steroid. The chemical name of turinabol is 4-Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone, from this chemical name you can understand that turinabol is combination of the chemical structures of Dianabol (Methandienone) and Clostebol (4-chlorotestosterone). Basically turinabol is a modified form of Dianabol (Methandienone), in composition attended atom of chloro and double bond between carbon 1 and 2. This small change inhibits the hormone from aromatizing into estrogen, and also reduces its androgenic nature. As a result turinabol androgenic activity is only 50% testosterone but its anabolic activity is 180% testosterone.

History

Turinabol was first manufactured and released in 1962 by the company Jenapharm in East Germany. Oral turinabol is one of the few androgenic anabolic steroids in history that was invented only for the purpose of enhancing performance and not for medical purposes. The main goal of the oral tbol was to enhance performance for male and female athletes in the Olympic games. Later, when 4-Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone was discovered, some sportsmen and official representatives from East Germany admitted that the reason of their colossal success was tbol. Jenapharm discontinued oral tbol in 1994 since that time the steroid is sold only through the black market.

Effects of Turinabol (Tbol)

Turinabol is supposed to provide a positive impact on protein synthesis and nitrogen retention. The steroid also increases red blood cell count. These traits enhance the anabolic atmosphere of the athlete.

4-Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone can be used to achieve different results for different sports. In bodybuilding this steroid can be used solo as the first bulking cycle. In this case the product allows you to gain some pounds of lean mass and also assess the reaction of your organism on androgenic anabolic steroids. For sure you will gain more mass using Dianabol or Deca but your mass will not be lean and the possibility of side effects would be higher. Also the steroid can be used in the cutting cycle in order to protect muscle tissue. Lots of bodybuilders state that turinabol is great for the cutting cycle. Oral turinabol is often participating in bodybuilder’s cycles with two and more drugs for different goals.

Chemistry structure of Oral Tbol

As I mentioned before turinabol is an altered form of dianabol, dianabol is a derivative of testosterone. So the compound of tbol is very simple, the testosterone hormone with a double bond between carbon 1 and carbon 2, this double bond is responsible for the reduction of androgenic strength. The compound also has a chloro group at carbon 4, which inhibits the hormone from aromatizing into estrogen and also reduces its androgenic nature. The last change is an added methyl group at the 17 carbon position, which allows oral bioavailability.

Dosages

The optimal dosage for the bulking cycle is 40 mg per day, the intake should be divided into 20 mg in the morning and 20 mg in the evening for 6-8 weeks. After the cycle I recommend completing the post cycle therapy. It can be 50 mg of Clomid for 14 days starting 2 days after the cycle or 20 mg of Tamoxifen for 14 days starting 2 days after the cycle.

The optimal dosage for athletes who want to recover faster, enhance strength and velocity and women athletes is from 10 to 20 mg per day, the intake should be divided into even parts in the morning and in the evening. Post cycle therapy after this dosage is not required.

Side effects

Oral turinabol is one of the safest steroids is frequently used among women. The probability of side effects is very small but anyway we will describe the possible side effects:

Increasing cholesterol (should not start cycle if level of cholesterol is higher than 240 milligrams per deciliter)

small possibility of acne

negative impact on liver (to avoid this side effect the cycle should not be longer than 8 weeks)

decrease in testosterone level (post cycle therapy will recover it fully)
